TEAS' TEA® LAUNCHES NEW FLAVORS offering a THREE TIER OPTION

Low-Calorie and Classic Flavors add new dimension

                 

San Francisco, CA. (January, 2011) – ITO EN (ee-toh-en), the world’s leading supplier of loose leaf and bottled green tea will launch a new and renewed TEAS’ TEA®  line at the Winter Fancy Food Show(January 16-18, 2011) in San Francisco.  Known for its purity and clarity of taste, while maintaining the integrity of the tea leaf, the company’s core brand, TEAS’ TEA has been popular for its unsweetened teas. Now broadening its offering to include Low-Calorie and Classic flavors, the award-winning line will now have a three tier option to meet consumer demand.

With the growing trend of wanting less sugar and lighter taste profiles, the bottled teas are healthy alternatives to highly sweetened sodas and beverages. The new Classic flavors will help widen the consumer base for those wanting to shift to drinking teas for its variety of tea flavanoids and antioxidants, but still want a somewhat sweet beverage.

The new Low-Calorie flavors with only 8-9 grams of natural cane sugar , is a perfect bridge for those wanting toeventually switch over to unsweetened teas, helping to gradually ease the transition to the palate. The five (5 flavors are:

LOW- CALORIE/ All Natural 40 calories per serving

  • TEAS’ TEA Blueberry Green – A clean taste of green tea with the lightly tart taste of blueberries.
  • TEAS’ TEA Lemon Black – Thirst quenching citrus with rich black tea
  • TEAS’ TEA Mango Oolong – A full taste of oolong tea with the bright, tropical taste of mango.

CLASSIC/ All Natural 70 calories per serving

  • TEAS’ TEA Crispy Apple-  An American classic of black tea and rich, natural apple flavor.
  • TEAS’ TEA Country Peach-  Black tea with natural peach flavor is a classic combination
