After 8 successful years of operation on Madison Avenue, we are sad to share the news that we will be closing the tea store and Kai Restaurant on April 9th. This was a difficult decision, but with our lease up on the building, it was a time for us to re-evaluate our business strategy and focus on our core business of ready-to-drink beverages, tea leaves and teabags.

All of us are grateful for your support and patronage over the years. We invite you to continue shopping with us on www.itoen.com, where we will be offering our vast selection of artisanal teas and gifts. Our Mitsuwa store location will also be open for business.

For delicious Japanese cuisine, please visit our DONGURI Restaurant at 309 East 83rd Street. Chef Hitoshi Kagawa, who was formerly the Executive Chef at KAI, will be happy to welcome you. Donguri Restaurant was recently awarded a 4 star rating by Forbes Magazine.

Although we will be leaving our Madison Avenue location, we look forward to your continued support as we enter the next phase of our national expansion.
