Shincha—“New Tea”—is a highlight of spring in Japan. The first tea picked in the spring, it is only lightly processed, destined to be enjoyed only during the months after the harvest.

We're very glad to announce the arrival of our first two Shincha harvests of 2013, our perennial best seller Chiran Yutaka Midori Shincha "Artisanal" and an exciting new cultivar Ōnejime "Shincha Artisanal".
