Origin: Anxi, Fujian, China
Golden Guanyin is an exciting new varietal grown in the Anxi region of Fujian, China. A cross between a traditional Guanyin and the Yellow Gold varietal, this truly artisanal harvest was fully oxidized and dark roasted to enhance the natural aroma of the leaf. Molten chocolate on a bed of graham crackers with a hint of black currant, the mouth-feel is uncannily full and long lasting. Harvested late this spring, this is possibly the best black tea we have ever tried.
